Ubuntu(VirtualBox)

Ubuntu †

Linuxのディストリビューションの1つ。
デスクトップ向けのUbuntu Desktopとサーバー向けのUbuntu Serverがある。
最新版はUbuntu 14.04 LTS（2014年4月17日現在）である。

インストール(VirtualBox) †

UbuntuのDownloadからISOイメージをダウンロードする。
「Choose your flavour」で64-bit（環境によっては32-bit）を選択し、Downlodをクリックする。
「Help shape the future of Ubuntu...」と表示されるが、ページ左下の「Not now, take me to the download」をクリックするとダウンロードが開始される。

ここではダウンロードしたISOファイルからVirtualBoxの仮想マシン（64bit）にUbuntu 14をインストールする。
VirtualBoxについてはこちらを参照し、事前にインストールしておく必要がある。

VirtualBoxを起動し、「新規」をクリックし仮想マシンを作成する。
仮想マシンの名前を入力し、タイプ「Linux」、バージョン「Ubuntu (64bit)」を選択すして「次へ」。

仮想マシンのメモリーサイズを入力して「次へ」。Ubuntu 14では512MB以上必要。

仮想ハードドライブを作成するを選択して「次へ」。

デフォルトのまま「次へ」。

仮想ハードドライブの保存先を選択し、ディスクの最大サイズを入力して「作成」。Ubuntu 14では6.4GB以上必要。

VirtualBox マネージャーに作成した仮想マシンが表示される。「設定」をクリックする。

クリップボードの共有とドラッグ＆ドロップを双方向にすると便利である。

ネットワークはNATがデフォルトで仮想のルーターを使用しているように動作するが、割り当てを「ブリッジアダプター」にするとLANに直接接続しているように動作する。

共有フォルダを作成しておくとファイルの受け渡しが便利である。右側の＋のアイコンをクリック。

共有するフォルダを選択し「OK」。自動マウントにチェックを入れておくと自分でマウントする作業が不要となる。

共有フォルダが作成されたら「OK]で設定を保存。

VirtualBox マネージャーから起動をクリックし仮想マシンを起動する。
「起動ハードディスクを選択」の画面が出るので、 ダウンロードしたISOファイルを選択して「起動」。

しばらくするとWelcomeの画面が表示される。

左側の言語のリストから「日本語」を選択し、「Ubuntuをインストール」をクリック。

そのまま「続ける」をクリック。

「ディスクを削除してUbuntuをインストール」のままで「インストール」をクリック。

「Tokyo」のまま「続ける」をクリック。

「日本語」のまま「続ける」をクリック。

ユーザー名、コンピューター名、パスワード等を入力し「続ける」をクリック。

インストールが開始される。そのまましばらく待つ。

インストール完了のメッセージが表示されたら、「今すぐ再起動する」をクリックし再起動する。
（再起動中にフリーズした場合は「仮想マシン」＞「リセット」からリセットする。）

再起動後パスワードを入力してログインする。

この時点では画面の解像度が低い状態になる。

「デバイス」＞「Guest Additions のCDイメージを挿入...」を実行し環境を整える。
ショートカットキーのHostはデフォルトでは右側のCtrlである。

警告が表示されるが「実行する」をクリック。

パスワードを入力し、「認証する」をクリック。

「Press return to close this window...」が表示されるまで待ち、Enterキーで終了させる。手動で再起動を行う。

再起動後、解像度が変更されている。デスクトップ左側のアイコンからファイル（上から2つ目）を起動する。取り出しマークをクリックしCDを取り出す。

共有フォルダはコンピューターの/media/sf_共有フォルダ名にマウントされているが、デフォルトではアクセス権がないため、Ctrl+Alt+Tで端末を起動し下記を実行後再ログインするとアクセスできるようになる。

sudo gpasswd -a ユーザ名 vboxsf

実行時にパスワードが聞かれるのでパスワードを入力する。

日本語入力を行うときはWindows+Spaceで入力メソッドを切り替える。
